Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and well experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team for civil works projects in Islamabad and Punjab. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost management, ensuring effective cost planning, procurement, and commercial management throughout the project life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and reports for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to assess project viability.
- Monitor project costs, quantities, and variations throughout the construction phase.
- Manage procurement processes, including tender documentation and contract administration.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions and value engineering.
- Assess and manage risk factors affecting project costs and provide mitigation strategies.
- Review and process variations, claims, and settlements as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all quantities, variations, and financial documentation.
- Preparing BOQs and Bar-Bending Schedules of different projects.
Requirements:
- DAE in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 – 10 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, contract management, and project procurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant software.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in Pakistan.
