Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Legal Adviser to join our team and provide legal counsel and support for our construction business. The ideal candidate will handle tax matters, contracts, compliance, and risk management related to construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on construction-related matters and contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the construction industry.
- Conduct legal research, analyze laws, and stay updated on relevant legislation.
- Assess and manage legal risks associated with construction projects.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and represent the company in legal proceedings.
- Assist in resolving disputes, claims, and litigation related to construction contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal and contractual compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; Master’s degree or specialized legal certifications are advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Legal Adviser or Lawyer in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction laws, contracts, and regulations.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with local construction laws and regulations in Pakistan.
